American-German Teacher Exchange
In the summer of 2012 I was very lucky to be a part of a teacher exchange between the cities of Cincinnati, Ohio and Munich, Germany. Six teachers from different schools and different grade levels were interviewed and selected in each city to participate. The goal was to learn about different cultures and how schools function in those different cultures. The German teachers visited Cincinnati for two weeks in April. In June, the American teachers visited Munich.
I was able to visit a variety of classrooms, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th, GED, and college level classes. It was a once in a lifetime experience! Below are some pictures of my adventures.
